Planning Teams at St. Andrew’s are dedicated to supporting the church in various ways, such as by organizing fundraisers, establishing and strengthening social connections, and giving back to various important charitable groups, both locally and globally.
Event Planning Team
The Event Planning team meets regularly to organize many of the important fundraising events for St. Andrew’s, including Trivia Night, the Holistic Wellness Workshop, Plays, Christmas events, and more. Anyone interested in participating in the committee meetings is welcome to attend. Additionally, the committee is always looking for volunteers to help out at various events. Heritage Group
The St. Andrew’s story is an amazing saga of determination and action inspired by faith. The Heritage group keeps that story alive and growing with intriguing displays of photos and other memorabilia that span over a century, from the earliest beginnings to present days.
Parish Health Ministry
This program ministers to the congregation as part of the Leading with Care partnership. It consists of registered nurses and other health related personnel seeking to transform the Faith Community of St. Andrew’s into a place of health and healing.
Blood pressure clinics are offered following Lunch with a Difference. The Parish Health Ministry also maintains the defibrillator and provides First Aid Kits and First Aid as needed. In addition to providing current health information, a resource person is available for consult on safe food handling. The group also maintains the loans cupboard with wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. Mobility equipment is available on a loaner basis for in home use.
The Seekers
Friendship, devotions, and social gatherings await you in The Seekers, a women’s group which functions in support of the church through planning and contributing to special events, as well as shared interests and concerns. The Seekers have been a part of St. Andrew’s for nearly 50 years, and welcome those who wish to join, or inquire. Welcome & Fellowship Team
Figuring out ways to keep current members engaged, and welcome future members, visitors, and anyone else who may want to be part of St. Andrew’s is an important part of strengthening our church, and creating meaningful relationships within. This is the focus of the Welcome & Fellowship Team, who are always open to new members, or those who want to learn more about St. Andrew’s. For more information, contact the church office.
